I was referred to Husker Hammer by a friend, he had wonderful things to say about them so I took the leap. I'd previously filed an insurance claim after the December 2021 wind storm and gotten a quote from a roofer that ended up ghosting me. When Brett came to give a quote he explained that the previous quote was not as thorough as it should have been, and he worked with my insurance on my behalf to make up the difference. The crew was quick, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves well. When I noticed a discrepancy - that my skylight was previously openable, but the one they replaced it with was not - I contacted Brett immediately and he assured me they would replace it as soon as another came in. Once they had it on hand Brett was in touch with me and made an appointment to have the replacement replaced.I am very glad my friend referred me to Husker Hammer, and I will do the same if ever I have someone who is seeking a roofer.

I had storm damage from the July wind storm and was having difficulty with the insurance company settling. We were finally able to reach a settlement and I selected a roofing company who had helped, but due to some internal issues they were not able to do the job. A friend of mine recommended Husker Hammer and I called Matt. Matt was out the next day, we signed a contract, and within 10 days, this was thanksgiving week, I had a new roof and new gutters. Matt's team worked hard for 3 days in cold weather to get my roof on before the first snow. They were excellent in their clean up and Matt followed up for a quality check. I can't say enough good things about Matt and his team, especially Maria, who was in constant communication during the entire project. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT COMPANY, AND VERY IMPORTANTLY, GREAT JOB! Any time you do a major project on an aging home, you need to expect there will be some issues which will need to be addressed. In our case, we had our home resided. Jake was the point man on this project. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive. Any questions we had were addressed quickly. The problems that arose were handled pretty smoothly. I used this company in 2015 to replace my roof, windows and siding. The professionalism of the team that did my installation was outstanding. All of the different teams of this work (roofing, siding, and windows) constantly continued to update me of the status of their work. The roof was completed in one day. The siding and windows took less than a week and the completed work was perfect. 5 1/2 years later and I am still very happy with the work they did. I did, however, have one small issue with one shingle that seemed to have been blown up by the wind to make a small peak. I contacted Husker Hammer and they came out to fix it that day. It just needed another tack. I am very impressed by their professionalism and prompt work. I have, and will continue to recommend them for all siding/roof/window repairs or replacements.
